"A design is the two-dimensional or three-dimensional appearance of the whole or a part of a product resulting from the features of, in particular, the lines, contours, colours, shape, texture or the materials of the product itself or its ornamentation."

The CHRONOS-Manufaktur dedicates a great deal of time to design and to crafting the shape of the individual instruments. We feel that the historical originals oblige us to link precision engineering and handicrafts intimately together, to create unique works of art as in days gone by.

The CHRONOS-Manufaktur has decided to register each newly created instrument in the design register at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office. In this way we can preserve the individual character of each instrument for our customers.
